SMAK Healthy Fast Food - Granville

Commercial Interior Design Project – SMAK Granville:

SMAK Healthy Fast Food was one of the first in Vancouver to provide healthy quick service and offer a 100% gluten free menu. The second location on Granville St was the first for JDG and was built around their clean, fresh and sustainable outlook. The main challenge was in the kitchen where it had to encompass an efficient layout to produce and serve an order in under 2 minutes. The grab and go is strategically placed next to the line up to help customers select salads and smoothie bases in order to fulfill their dietary needs in the shortest time possible. The leading front of house feature is reclaimed red fir that clads the walls and live edge bar counters which celebrates their BC upbringing. Local lighting designers provided bamboo pendants that line the storefront and bubble wall sconces in the corner seating area. The reclaimed wood was incorporated with white and accents of the brand colour purple to create a dynamic energy.
